Queens (Kings) and Bitches
A portrait series celebrating drag, dogs, and joyful self-expression
Queens (Kings) and Bitches is an ongoing portrait series pairing drag queens and kings with canine companions in imaginative studio portraits celebrating connection, identity, and unapologetic joy.
Blending portraiture, performance, and the expressive spirit of dogs, the series explores what happens when individuality, companionship, and a little pageantry share the spotlight.
The result is joyful, colorful, and unexpectedly intimate—portraits that celebrate being fully seen and having fun doing it.
Calling Drag Performers
I'm inviting local drag queens and kings to be part of Queens (Kings) and Bitches.
This portrait series celebrates drag, dogs, and joyful self-expression through imaginative studio portraits created with personality, artistry, and a little pageantry.
Bring your look. Bring your energy. Bring your dog—or meet one of our dog models.
Sessions take place at Kindred Spirit Pet Photography in downtown Middletown, Ohio.
Interested? Let’s connect.
Interested in being part of the project? Send a message to introduce yourself. I’d love to learn more about your drag persona and talk about creating something beautiful together.
The Portraits
A Project with Purpose
Queens (Kings) and Bitches is growing into something larger than a portrait series.
The long-term vision is to build this project into a fundraiser supporting organizations that uplift LGBTQ+ communities and animal welfare—celebrating chosen family, companionship, and the power of being welcomed exactly as you are.
Because joy matters.
Visibility matters.
And so does creating something beautiful that gives back.
